The simple answer is to make people dance. That is accomplished by impeccable song selection, seamless mixing, using state of the art equipment, and knowing when to turn the floor. I have two personas. DJ FOG is the retro DJ that plays ‘80s and ‘90s Dance and ‘80s New Wave, and Jack in the Box, the high energy EDM DJ. Who shows up depends on the crowd and the venue.

IN THE BEGINNING…
there was Jack, and Jack had a groove.
And from this groove came the groove of all grooves.
And one day, while viciously throwing down on his box, Jack boldly declared,
“Let there be HOUSE!”
My Story
I have been directly involved in music since my early teens. My first DJ gig was in 1980 and I spent the next 8 years working in the most notable Central Florida nightclubs of the day. In 1988 I moved to California. This opened a much more progressive club environment that further expanded my talents. Although in 1991 I set my turntables to the side to raise a family and embark on a new career, I never lost my love for music and spinning records.
Once again, the music is calling, only now with digital technology. Being a DJ has come a long way since the 1980s, when I thought I was lucky to have three turntables!!
Though I still have a strong affinity for all things 1980’s, I just love spinning EDM, especially Electro House, Big Room, and Techno.
